Abstract
The article discusses the semantics and distribution of the constructions with resultative / perfective participle in modern Eastern Armenian and Georgian. Up to now such constructions have not been covered by a special investigation, yet they present some features of interest in terms of the typology of resultative constructions and perfect, since one can observe an “alternative” form of perfect with the auxiliary verb “to have” developing, along with the pre-existing system of forms with the auxiliary verb “to be”
