Abstract

Notwithstanding achievements of modern surgery of the esophageal-gastric junction the analysis of results of antireflux operations continues to be topical. The proved high percentage of recurrence not less than 14?16% determines the necessity of further investigation of the problem. The aim of the investigation is to estimate the value of the distant results of the treatment of patients suffering from reflux disease in combination and without hiatal hernia and to compare distant results after fundoplication according to Nissen and Nissen-Rosetti with formation of the circular cuff and partial fundoplication according to Toupet and Dor. Quality of life analysis of the distant post-operating period was carried out among 192 respondents from 593 cases of addressed on the basis of the standardized GIQLI survey data. After partial fundoplication according to Toupet somewhat better indices of quality of life are recorded then after total fundoplication according to Nissen and Nissen-Rosetti at the expense of higher frequency of the development of transitory dysphagia, which increases with the increase of post-operating period. But the percentage of proved recurrence (according to the data bank of the clinic) after partial fundoplications is 2,5 times higher.
