INVESTIGATE PLENTY OF BLADDER CANCER IN KERMANSHAH CITY DURING 2002-2011 YEARS

Abstract
Background & Aims: Bladder cancer is the 11th most common cancer and the 14th leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide. Understanding the epidemiology of bladder cancer is very effective in the health planning of this cancer. According to lack of information in the field, the present study was carried out in order to investigate plenty bladder cancer in kermanshah city during 2002 to 2011years. Materials & Methods: This study is a retrospective historical cohort.The data were extracted from health Center cancer registry of Kermanshah province during 2002 to 2011 .Data analysis was performed using the software SPSS18. Results: The results of this study showed that, The 1244 people are with bladder cancer during ten years, Who were 1028 men ( %82.64) and 216 female ( %17.36). The most frequent bladder cancer is in both sexes in 2009. The plenty of bladder cancer is in men more than women. Conclusions: Based on the results, Bladder cancer in Kermanshah process variable and more Increased. Although a proportion of this increase may be due to improvements in cancerregistration system, still the probability of increasing the plenty of bladder cancer exists with increasing life expectancy, lifestyle and other risk factors. Thus planning to investigate the causes of this cancer can be useful in the primary prevention of the cancer.
