The Effect of Transformational Leadership on Organizational Learning in Jordanian Commercial Banks in Northern Province

Abstract
The study aims at examining the effect of transformational leadership on organizational learning at (organization ,group, and individual levels) in the Jordanian banking sector in the northern province. The study sample consisted of 300 employees in the banking sector, and in order to achieve the study goals ,the researchers has developed a validated questionnaire ,an analytical and descriptive statistical tools were used to reach the results of the study. Major findings of the study came as follows: 74% of the respondents are holders of bachelor degree, also 68.5% of the respondents were under 50 years old, the major indication of the study show that setting an example as a major attribute of transformational leadership has the highest effect on individual learning from respondents point of view , also the study revealed that a significant effect at (α? o.o5) of transformational leadership dimensions (Intellectual stimulation, role playing) on organizational learning at group an individual levels, also a positive significant correlation at(α?.05) in between transformational leadership dimensions and organizational learning at individual level. According to the findings of the study, the researchers have suggested some recommendations. The leadership in banking sector has to adopt the transformational leadership dimensions because of its importance on organizational learning, also leaders in Jordanian banking sector have to give much more importance to organizational learning at group and organizational level.
