The Impact of Quality Websites to Attract Patients for Treatment in Private Hospitals in Jordan

Abstract

This study aims to shed light on the availability of quality standards of websites, dimensions (totalitarianism, aesthetic, updated information, accuracy, confidence and credibility, responsiveness) in health centers and hospitals in Jordan-and study its impact on attracting patients for treatment in Jordan, the study adopted the descriptive and analytical methods through questionnaires which have been prepared according to the variables of the study, and was distributed to a sample of non-Jordanian patients in Jordanian hospitals that have International certification (JCIA), namely, (Takhssosi , Isra , Istishari, Jordan, Husein center ). The study concludes that hospitals' websites have significant quality in its services and information. Designs are characterized by comprehensiveness of services and information that they provide, but do not contain comprehensive information for all the questions of patients. Websites is accurate in their information provided to the visitor, trust and reliability and aesthetic, but they are not characterized by novelty of information provided by adequate. Study also demonstrated that the response of hospitals websites is limited and criticism. The results of the study pointed to the existence of a statistically significant effect for all of the variables of the study on attracting patients for treatment in Jordan except the aesthetic eremant. Based on the concluding results, the study's recommends. The increase of the amount of information to include all aboutpatients questions and inquiries on the services and the costs of health service, delete obsolete information periodically and make sure to update information, and that rapid response is adequate.
