DYNAMICS OF REAL EDUCATION IN WESTERN SIBERIA OF THE SECOND PART OF XIX ? EARLY XX CENTURIES

The paper analyzes the dynamics of real education development in the West Siberian educational district (1885?1918). The rates of change are compared to male secondary schools both within the school district, and within the boundaries of the whole empire. The paper identifies the factors affecting the slow growth of this type of secondary schools, both material and social, associated with the prestige of technical education in pre-revolutionary Russia.
