Abstract
The author of the article argues against the widely spread opinion about Tyutchev’s "paganism, pantheism or even bashful atheism", imposed by the Soviet atheistic literary criticism, and proves that in a lot of ways Tyutchev’s poems implicate a true Christian principle, commenting especially on the crucial period in the poet’s creative process.
