Abstract
On the basis of analysis of the research results conducted during 2011?2013 and published data, it was found on that territory 39 species of reptiles. Three species belong to the group of turtles (Testudines), 15 species - lizards (Sauria) and 19 species - snakes (Serpentes). All species are included in 11 families: Testudinidae, Emydidae, Gekkonidae, Agamidae, Anguidae, Scincidae, Lacertidae, Typhlopidae, Boidae, Colubridae and Viperidae. The article presents a systematic, biological and environmental data of species. The distribution of species Mauremys obucularis and Darevskia unisexualis was recorded for the 1st time. The earlier found Psammophis lineolatus were not observed, and this gives a reason to think that this species is on the way to extinction on the area of Autonomous Republic. Scanty (low number) species were identified for the area of Autonomous Republic.
