Abstract
Retail trade ? as branch of national economy ? promotes satisfaction of needs of the population of the country for various goods released domestic or foreign producers. According to researchers, questions of culture and quality of trade service, need with his accounting of continuous improvement of trade and technological process, are the most significant in competitive fight among the Russian enterprises of retail trade especially as their many types / formats (for example, a supermarket, boutique, salon) place emphasis on these factors in the commercial work. The terminological review of definitions "trade service", "quality and culture of trade service of the population" is presented in this publication
