The article describes the communication skills in shaping the culture of professional communication of television journalists. We characterize communicative skills: the ability to transfer knowledge and skills known, variants of solutions, methods of communication in the new communicative situation; ability to find new solutions to the communicative situation, using a combination of known ideas, knowledge, techniques; the ability to create new techniques to solve particular communicative situation. The analysis of conditions conducive to the development of communication skills.
