SOLAR POWERED WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK : A REVIEW

The power generation sector is focussing more attention towards using renewable energy resources. Renewable energy technologies offer the promise of clean, abundant energy gathered from self-renewing resources such as the sun, wind, water, earth, and plants. The main problem in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is to balance energy and extend network lifetime, whereby the goal is to guarantee a long time monitoring in area-of-interest. This paper proposes a novel way of using the solar energy effectively for operating the wireless sensor networks.
