Abstract

The article deals with opposition and interaction of the Azerbaijanian literary language and its dialects and patoises. Penetration of dialectal words into the Azerbaijanian literary language is traced on the basis of the dialectal and explanatory dictionaries, belles-lettres; frequently used dialectal words used by skilled reciters in the different stylistic purposes are analyzed. The special attention is given to appropriate use of dialectal words that are clear to readers and don’t complicate text.
