MULTILEVEL TRANSPORT INTERCHANGE

The authors provide an analysis of traffic on the example of the intersection of streets Bauirzhan Momyshuly and Tauelsizdik, Astana. As you know these two streets are the main transport arteries which connecting the right and left bank of the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Analysis shows that at peak time fairly large plugs formed at following vehicles in both directions. Therefore, the authors of a scientific paper proposed a scheme of multilevel transport interchange, eliminating conflict points that increase capacity of interchange and ensure the safety of pedestrians.
