Abstract
Results of surgical treatment of patients with echinococcosis of a liver are analyzed by various ways of antiparasitic processing of a residual cavity. The obtained data of researches have allowed to conclude, that Povidon-iodine application in processing of residual cavities after echinococcectomy from a liver reveals its expressed pernicious action on all types of germinal elements of echinococc and its rather harmless influence on a macroorganism at intraoperative application provides possibility of wide use of this preparation in surgery practice echinococcosis of various localization, with the purpose of preventive maintenance of postoperative complications and disease relapses.
