SKETCH ON PERIODICALS

In the given article the sketch is regarded as a specific journalistic genre, the peculiarities of a portrait sketch have been also defined. Vladimir Ryzhkov’s portrait sketch published in the newspaper "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda" has been analyzed which is dedicated to E.A. Buketov, an outstanding scientist, personality, academician. Commentaries, journalist generalization, which are different in stylistic form, are described in the article. It is noted, that the sketch is one of the most important periodical’s genres requiring from the author high professional quality.
