SOCIAL NETWORKS AND YOUTH

In today's society to the fore the information needs of the person. Consumption data ? the active pro- cess of selecting interesting data users and active users of the Internet are theoretically independent participants of mass communication. Information and communication technologies are characterized by contradictory social impact of the global and ubiquitous. The exponential growth of information can turn on the one hand, standardi- zation and impoverishment of the content disseminated and available information, on the other hand, the actual failure to meet the information needs of users. The article analyzes the impact of social networks on the youth of the city (questionnaires, in September 2015, Togliatti, N = 1000 persons 14?30 years old) revealed the motives of entry into social networks, identify the most popular social networks, considered the degree of employment (pastime) in social networks.
