Abstract
In this article the process of the mechanic-chemical modification of polystyrene by various elastomers is considered. The scientific novelty of this research work is synthesis of sulphocationites based on a ready polymeric framework, i.e. the modified polystyrene. The nuclear magnetic resonance and infrared spectrum analysis of the modified and sulfonated system are carried out. The main physic-mechanical properties of sulphocationites are given.
