Abstract
In terms of the Aral ecological crisis the diversification of agricultural production, as one of the main directions of improving the sustainability of agriculture in the Aral Sea region of Kazakhstan, should be given the priority attention. The diversification reduces the impact of economic and ecological crises, mitigating their consequences.
