GASOLINE PRICE FORECASTING BASED ON MULTIFACTOR MODELS

The urgency of dependence of prices on gasoline in Russia from various factors researches is shown. The kind of a model is selected and a linear multifactor model is built. The model describes a dependence of gasoline prices from the exchange rate, oil prices and the number of cars in the country. Trends of all the factors are identified, their prediction is made. Forecasts of gasoline prices are obtained. The dependence of the predic- tions on changes in the trends of development factors is determined. Opportunities for change in gasoline prices from changes in the prices of oil in the country is identified
