Abstract

The article is devoted to the description of critical thinking implementation practice at the music lessons for the students majoring in music education. It is a brand new approach that assumes the transfer of subject knowledge (so-called “domain knowledge”) coming to the sidelines, while the generation and development of the students’ ability to treat learning issues critically, to reason and interpret the material all by themselves advance to the forefront.
