Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain a desired amount of a callus mass in order to prepare biologically active additives (BAA) from alfalfa. Apart from that the influence of twenty-four-hours during seed growth on their further explantation. It was observed that in vitro alfalfa plants showed good callus formation ability for 9 days. When the influence of explants on callus formation ability was investigated, it was observed that cotyledons and epicotyl form more callus tissue than hypocotyl. In addition, protein fractionation of alfalfa crop and callus tissues was obtained by means of protein electrophoresis method was done in polyacrylamide gel. The aim of this research is to investigate possibility of improvement in qualitative content of the protein and obtaining biologically active additive from alfalfa in vitro.
