Abstract
The article deals with one of the types of formal correlation of emotional-evaluative nouns meaning person in translation of literary texts. It is noted that the morphological and syntactic positions of personal names are involved in formal recoding. This type of equivalence is manifested in the analyzed material in translating collocations whose components are connected by means of coordination and regulation. The authors note that the model with definition connection is applied in direct and figurative meanings in the role of appeal, as well as being included in "the context of person", whereas the model with regulation connection is less productive
