THE TEACHING OF THE HUMANITIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN TERMS OF MASS MEDIA GROWTH

This article draws attention to new trends in the teaching of the humanities in connection with the de- velopment of the Internet and the mass media. The authors believe that the interaction of the subjects in the pro- cess of teaching should not be mediated by the media. The teaching of the humanities must base on personal factors. Emotional perception, critical thinking, analytical skills may appear in full only in the process of direct communication between subjects of educational activity. The process of informatization of educational sphere is necessary to oppose the need to preserve the human being as a spiritual component of the universe
