Abstract
This article observes the stages of transition to the usage of videolectures in English in the process of bachelor of science training. It reveals the necessity of following these stages and demonstrates the tasks that should not be left out of account by the teachers. The attention is paid to the usage of the authentic videolectures content. The students who acquired the skills of scientific information perception in English have career ad- vantages over those who did not manage to acquire. Application of videolectures on professional disciplines in English motivates students to broaden the professional horizons and thanks to multimedia information technolo- gies it can be built in autonomy of students’ learning environment very successfully
