Abstract
The peculiarities of hydrodynamic processes in Hamrin reservoir are caused by its relatively small size and depth, its disposition on the valley bottom. The reservoir is notable for significant fluctuations of water level during the year and in long-term dynamics and weak wind waves (up to 1.0 m, rarely 1.5 m), and consequently small intensity of beach processes. Spreading of stream surface speeds in reservoir is incoherent. The fastest speeds take place in the central bathymetrical part of the reservoir ? 1.0-2.0 cm / s. In the upper and lower shallow part of the reservoir the stream speeds vary from 0.5 cm / s to 1.0 cm / s. In bathymetrical barrage part of reservoir, the medium stream speeds are 1.0 cm/s. In barrage part of reservoir, the streams are directed to the dam, while the streams in various directions take place in the other part of reservoir.
