The article is devoted to modeling the AC traction energy supply system of electric railway with 2x25 kV autotransformer traction network using professional system based on MatLab/Simulink mathematical computing software. In this paper we propose rather a simple method of using Simulink standard block set to model 2х25 electric traction network which includes a large number of mutual-inductance circuits and autotransformer points. The proposed methods allow to build multifunctional models of 2х25 kV system that support the exploration of such systems without considerable simplification of equivalent circuits in a reasonable time frame, taking into account many influencing factors. The proposed approach has an obvious advantage over analytical methods and mathematical modeling techniques which are implemented in algorithmic languages of general-purpose programming tools.
