OPERATING STYLE OF THE UK.SSR AUTOMOBILE TRANSPORT (1960 ? 1980)

In the present article the wide range of problems influencing the road freightage efficiency in the national economy of Ukraine in the 60-ies ? 80-ies of the 20-th century is analyzed. The rate of the automobile transport development in the national economy of the Ukrainian SSR as a whole and the growth of local and main highways road freightage in particular is shown. The peculiarities of the republic’s automobile transport functioning in different chronological periods are analyzed. The author specially points out the periods with positive dynamics of development and those with obstacles. The nature of the both type periods is cleared out. Special attention is paid to the problem of departmental long distance freightage breaking up, as well as the phenomena that it brought growth of the cost price.
