Abstract
In Yakut literary studies no consistent research has been performed yet for the works of Aysen Doydu, poet, scriptwriter and playwright. This fact determines the urgency of revealing the evolution of the writer’s creative search from the early experiments to the present day. After studying the multigenre legacy of Doydu in a consistent manner, we have detected the trend of development from early poetry, gravitating to avant-garde, to realistic dramatical and poetical pieces of the later period. At the heart of it there are existential challenges of a man in the global world.
