The subject of the present research is the strategic trends of investment-driven development of educational sphere in Ukraine, through the systemic realization of which it becomes possible to ensure extensive investment attraction and generation at varied levels of educational system. The purpose of the given article: to conduct an analysis of strengths and weaknesses, potential opportunities and pertinent threats to the national educational sphere that serves as a basis for the development of elaborate investment strategy at every level of the sphere in question in the ongoing crisis conditions. Methodology of the conducted research. The paper is carried out through employing analytical and systematic methods of research. Results of the research work. The paper concentrates on defining the strategic directions of investment-driven development of the domestic educational sphere that are set to become the basis of the investment policy both at the national and regional levels of educational management as well as at the level of certain economic entities involved. Sphere of application of the research results: to be used for performing scientific research in respect of modeling the investment-driven development of the education sphere of Ukraine in the crisis events. Conclusions. The results of the conducted SWOT-analysis create certain strategic balance of positive and negative factors (from the view of both internal and external environment) that represents a baseline for defining strategic directions in investmentdriven development of the national educational sphere and serves as a point of departure for creating competitive advantage at the educational investment market for domestic educational establishments. Results of the research allow systematizing the data necessary for strategic planning of investment processes in the educational sphere extrapolating it to long-term perspective at the same time defining the competitive advantages and formulating strategic priorities.
