“THE NEW ETHICS” IN THE CONTEXT OF POSTNONCLASSICAL ETHICAL DISCOURSE

The tendencies of extending the subject field of ethics as the basis of ?practical reason? in the context of postnonclassical ethos are reviewed. Particular attention is paid to the phenomenon of ?new ethics? (ethics of science, environmental and biological ethics). The position is being argued that the subject matter of ?new ethics? should be organically incorporated in the holistic context of classical ethics as ?moral philosophy?.
