Abstract

The article deals with the results of authors’ solution of an issue of junior schoolchildren’ mathematical notions formation, learning mathematical terms on the example of learning functional relationship between the notions of price, number and cost. The authors suggest using price units, which differ from cost units taking into account the mathematical language peculiarities. The recommendations on respective terminology, defining problems on the topic Price, number, cost are given.
