Abstract
The culture can studied through the prism of musical instruments. The peculiarities of labor activities, lifestyle, and climate conditions are reflected in the music and resulted in creation of a certain musical instrument. The instrumenatum history is stretching back into antiquity. The numerous historic monuments and works of eastern medieval scientists, the notes of ethnographers and travelers of 18-19 centuries, the studies of the modern researches, archeological discoveries of the past few decades, antique instruments collections in museums and stereotype about the instrumental art allow reconstructing comprehensive, historic fact-based image of musical instruments development.
