Abstract

Modern elementary mathematical education is focused on competence-based approach. In this article the development of an education system on competence-based basis is considered. The modern readiness criteria of competent teacher ? master worker ? are offered. Recommendations about improvement of methodological-mathematical training of future elementary school teacher are made.
