Abstract
Article deals with specifics of continuous flight auger piles of large diameter placing in multilayer clay soils associated with uncontrolled excess removing of weak soil, which leads not only to concrete mixture overrun, but also to significant shrinkage of pit's bottom. The results of static tests confirm an increase in the values of the piles' actual bearing capacity in comparison to with estimated.
