Abstract
The article deals with the various definitions of culture, the role of culture in pedagogy and pedagogical process in higher educational institution. The aim of worldview function of national culture is to broaden the mind and systematize knowledge of students in the sphere of national culture, form moral and aesthetic personal qualities, beliefs, opinions, value judgements on the issues of national culture, formation of behavior norms and moral image of a person.
