Abstract
The authors conducted a study on the families and school cooperation in solving students’ educational problems. Particular attention was paid to the importance of such cooperation to counter the dysfunctional behavior among youth. Its importance was also stressed in the multilateral development of children and young people and improving the process of teaching and education. Moreover, both factors determining the effectiveness of educational cooperation of teachers and parents were as well as the factors disrupting cooperation were analyzed. Also, the need for further research in this area was indicated.
