Abstract
In this research work the theoretical and practical issues of social anxiety and its influence on workers’ adaptation processes to market socio-political conditions in transition period are discussed. The regional features of this process on the example of Kuzbass Region are noted. It is proved that a certain set of social anxieties is capable to change considerably the structure of social adaptation processes and to lead to impossibility of adaptation to the new social conditions for worker.
