Abstract
By FEM developed models and analysis conducted open block pressing, direct closed block pressing in the traditional cone and cone matrix with special profile. Shaping was carried out for tubular workpieces made of stainless steel. The experimental results confirmed the adequacy of the developed models. Determined efforts block pressing end shapes and sizes of deformed blanks and tense-deformed state in them. Using special profile matrix resulted in a significant increase in the block pressing ratio compared to the open and closed block pressing in a conventional cone matrix. Defined necessary data for the design of the block pressing technology die tooling design and selection forging equipment.
