Abstract
Optical internal urethrotomy is a commonly done procedure for stricture urethra disease.1 We evaluated the predictors of outcome of optical internal urethrotomy for short segment bulbar urethral stricture in our institution. Patients with percentage narrowing of less than 60% on Retrograde Urethrogram had a better outcome than patients who had a percentage narrowing of more than 60% ( p-value 0.001**). Alternate procedure should be considered in any case with findings of narrowing more than 60% in stricture urethra.
