Abstract
This article is devoted to the methodical approach to tasks shortcomings indexation revealed during expert study before test examination. This approach simplify work of experts and founders of test tasks. The offered approach considers a set of the formal and substantial requirements accepted in higher education institution and a variety of shortcomings’ combinations of one task. The expenditures of time for identification of shortcomings of test tasks are less than for their identification and fixing, which are necessary for preparation of the expert opinion and elimination of shortcomings by test founders.
