Abstract
The brief characteristics of chemical-electric oxidation methods of hydrolytic lignin as well as various aspects of using oxidized lignin are presented. It is noted that in terms of resource-saving, lignin oxidation in acidic media is prospective, which is caused by the possibility of multiple use of acid electrolyte in its correction mode. Getting the highly reactive polymer materials (sorbing agents, eco-fire-retarding chemicals etc.) is proved to be the result of hydrolytic lignin oxidation in fluoric acid.
