Abstract
In this study, the short term (25 years) streamflow data and trend recorded at 11 stations at south west coast of India, is analyzed using Mann-Kendall test and the Sen's slope method. The results were obtained on the basis of yearly, seasonal and monthly time step. The results showed significant decreasing trend in stations of Pattazhy and Thumpamon. These results were further explained on the basis of decrease in rainfall. The analysis provides valuable information for regional hydrological studies and water management.
