Abstract

The article is showed the relationship of the sectoral structure and stages of economic development on the basis of civilization and formation approaches.There is analyzed sectoral structure through horizontal and vertical development, as well as through the model of the “whole” and a model of “functioning”. Found that the model of the “whole” of the sectoral structure reflects the civil society movement through the change of the proportion between sectors, and the model of “functioning” is quality development of individual sectors (primary, secondary, tertiary) under the influence of developmental factors within a specific environment, which is ensured by the interaction of formal and informal institutions. The necessity of improvement of the existing theoretical three sectors model K. Clark through the use of a new methodological approach to the formation of the sectoral structure of “poles” of growth (branches) in each specific sector. The necessity of structuring of economic systems based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative characteristics taking into account the peculiarities of national development.
