Abstract
In this article the mechanisms for resolving contradictions in realization of the model of sustainable development in a globalizing world have been analyzed. The experience of reconciling the interests of business and society on a global level and implementation of mechanisms for agreeing the interests of the state and the communities on the local level were considered. The need for a synergistic approach to the development of a strategy of sustainable development was substantiated.
