The analysis of the development of regional market for banking services

Problems of optimization of functioning of the market for banking services play important role in the reform of economic relations. A study of regional markets for banking services stipulates the necessity explore factors influencing their functioning and development. The research of regional markets for banking services helps to find ways for further development of the regions. The article investigates the main aspects that affect their development. Also in the paper analyzes factors influence the functioning and development of the regional markets for banking services. In the article is proposed the author's approach to the assessment of regional markets for banking services. Information bases of research are statistics indicators of average annual balances non- financial corporations on deposits and loans. The article presents the theoretical and methodological bases of research of regional market for banking services. The author examines of regional market for banking services as an important element of the overall system of national and regional economy. An important place in the markets for banking services has owned regional banks and government policy aimed at their support. Today in Ukraine markets for banking services is monopolized. This situation prevents the development markets for banking services. This is impact on the fall economic and social indicators. The instrument by which to actively influence the development of the regions is a market for banking services. Today the market for banking services absent regional banks. At present only in some regions there are banks, which are inherent features of the regional. The study of regional markets for banking services performed the specific territorial organization of the regional markets for banking services and the social and economic development of the regions. In turn, the analysis into organizational and economic component helps to evaluate the development of the regional markets for banking services. Thus, analysis of the markets of banking services includes two positions. Firstly - analysis of ownership relations on regional markets for banking services. Secondly - analysis of market conditions. Today in Ukraine there is a situation in which the regions in terms of development banking markets are unevenly distributed. Thus, today the important task is to harmonize regional interests with the activities of banks in their territories. We must find a common goal: to create optimal conditions for the development of regions and banking institutions. This approach will help to support their development in future.
