Abstract
This paper is first to present the results of linguistic and translation study of Abay’s Way tetralogy by M.O. Auezov ? a masterpiece of Kazakh literature, the first literary work translated from its Russian version into 116 languages. The novel in 4 books by M.O. Auezov is the work that reflected scientific and social thought of Kazakh people in the second half of XX century. The stable ideological connotation is one of epistemological omissions of the novel. As a result of comparing aesthetic parameters of the work, syntactic, semantic and pragmatic omissions were distinguished, which has led to inaccurate perception of nationally biased units, creating a special national color and aesthetic effect of the novel.
