Abstract
The article is devoted to the issues of multicultural linguistic education of economic students as participants of intercultural dialogue and international professional commun ity amid global competition and world order transformation. The author specifies the major principles of linguistic identity construction and examines a set of competencies and competences needed to resolve the issues of mutual understanding and interaction with bearers of different cultures.
