ETHNOCULTURAL COMPETENCY OF THE FUTURE PEDAGOGUE AS AN ELEMENT OF THEIR PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE

The article is devoted to an issue of training the future pedagogues in terms of competence-based approach, namely the necessity to form ethnocultural competency. It occurs due to the fact that the modern graduate of pedagogic major faces the students of differences nationalities in educational institutions both in city and country. The lack of knowledge of history, cultural customs and traditions often leads to misunderstanding between teacher and student. The future teachers should be trained in higher educational institutions taking into account that graduates will have to work in multicultural educational environment. That is why the issue of ethnocultural competency is of utmost significance.
