Abstract
In the article presents the main factors that have a decisive influence on the intensification of meat production: increase fodder production and improve their quality; expand the scale and increase the intensity of fattening of cattle on the basis of specialization and concentration of production, the introduction of industrial technologies; improvement of methods of breeding, increasing the productivity of existing and creation of new breeds and types of livestock, and the introduction of breeding and hybridization of animals, with the involvement of the best world genetic resources.
