Abstract

Introduction: Results of standard chemoradiotherapy in locally advanced cancer of head and neck remain unsatisfactory. More effective methods of treatment are developing. Purpose: To enlarge the treatment efficiency for cancer of oral cavity, tongue, pharynx and larynx with stage III and IVА,B by application of the dynamic accelerated hyperfractionation with concomitant boost. Materials and methods: Radioplanning and treatment data of 360 patients were investigated. Results of research: The comparative estimation of radiotherapy efficiency with two regimens of fractionation was carry out. Conclusions: The best results are received at the new regimen of radiotherapy.
